Holiday Schedule
Long weekends and school holidays
Children come to the chapel following the Gospel during Darien school breaks and long weekends.

Please meet at the Front Parking Lot closest to the Post Road for the Palm Procession and the arrival of the Donkey. The children will receive special palms that they may throw before the Donkey's path.
Maundy Thursday

Intergenerational service in the church
Good Friday
Friday, March 29th, 2013 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Children of all ages and families are invited to attend a child-friendly Good Friday service. Younger children will stay in the Parish Hall for a lesson with "Ressurection Eggs" and older children are invited to visit the stations of the cross. All the children will meet up afterwards to make "Empty Tomb Cookies" and drum the Community Procession
of the Cross in.
Easter Eve Service for Families
Saturday, March 30th, 2013 at 3:30 p.m.
This child-friendly service will meet in the Church. Afterwards, the children are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt. Younger children (ages 5 and under) in the Parish Hall and older children (6 and older) outside by Ring's End Road.

Featuring choir, brass, organ and timpani.
9:15 am Family Holy Eucharist with Organ and Hymns (Chapel)
This is a great service for young children.
9:15 am Come As You Are Eucharist (Parish Hall)
Family service with contemporary liturgy and music.
(Childcare available 7:30am-12:30pm)
* Because this service is crowded, people come early to be assured of a seat.
Please note: You are allowed to save only one seat for the driver of your car.
Waveny Tea
April 24, 2013, 3:30 - 5:00 pm
3 Farm Road, New Canaan, CT
Families with children of all ages are invited to an afternoon tea with the Seniors at Waveny Care Center. We will have tea and refreshments and those musically inclined guests can perform a song or dance. We will also work on a craft with the Senior Residents.

Food Collection
Children's Ministries will be collecting food at both of the Stop and Shop stores in Darien this spring as part of Outreach Weekend and we could use your help! On Sunday, April 28th we will be at the Goodwives Stop and Shop from 10:00-4:00 and on Sunday, May 5th, we will be at the Noroton Heights Stop and Shop from 10:00-4:00. Please let me know if your family can volunteer for one hour time slots on either day (or both!) to help collect food for the Person to Person food pantry. In the past this event has been enormously successful and a great help to families in need.
