Confirmation
Confirmation
Confirmation is a program designed for young adults wanting to explore the Christian faith they were baptized into as infants. The education program focuses on exploring the tenets of the Baptismal Covenant, exploring who Jesus is, learning about the history of the church, contemplating the role of Christianity within our society, and what it means to make an adult profession of faith in confirmation. The program leads to the Bishop confirming those who desire to make the Christian faith their own. Those wanting to be confirmed should be in the 8th grade or higher.
Classes for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm, and additionally 8th grade students partipate in service projects and a mentor program where they explore their faith together with adults from Saint Luke's through the year.
Contact Andrew Walter with any questions you might have, or to explore being confirmed as an adult.
