Thoughtful cards are sent to parishioners on special occasions.

Healing prayer, intercessory prayer, and the laying on of hands can bring comfort and peace. Our lay healing ministers are present at the Sunday Eucharist twice monthly to provide healing prayer with clergy at the altar rail. The team meets weekly for intercessory prayer, is available on request to pray with and for people in homes, hospitals and other locations, and also hosts discussions on meditation and prayer.
Jane Prince, 203-655-7984 / email@example.com
Lynne Tiano, 203-656-0024 / firstname.lastname@example.org
Trained Lay Eucharistic Ministers bring the Holy Eucharist to parishioners who are unable to attend worship, whether because of illness, childbirth or any other reason. Our ministry extends the love of the Saint Luke’s community by sharing bread and wine from the altar in a brief service in private homes, nursing homes and hospitals.
Judy Holding, 203-655-2425 / email@example.com
Our trained lay chaplains visit with parishioners on a strictly confidential basis to provide pastoral care in times of grief, illness, family crisis, or any occasion where a parishioner may need someone to listen and be present with them. The lay chaplain may visit a single time or continue for a period of time.
Blake Robinson, 203-655-0727 / firstname.lastname@example.org
Our clergy and lay chaplains will visit families with a newly born or adopted child to provide a special blessing. Blessings may also be scheduled during a Wednesday Eucharist service.
