Beyond Prison Bars: The Transformative Power of Education | Sunday, October 27 | 11am | Parish Hall
Join us as representatives and alumni of Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison share their stories about how education and the ongoing support of the Hudson Link “family” have transformed their lives. Hudson Link was formed in 1998 to offer higher education to incarcerated men at Sing Sing Correctional Facility. At this time, 670 incarcerated people are enrolled in Hudson Link classes, more than 1,200 degrees have been awarded, and over 1,600 Hudson Link alumni have come home and are making positive contributions to their communities. The organization now offers programs in five additional prisons and provides re-entry support services.
