Children's ministries
Saint Luke’s has a rich history of nourishing children and we aim to create an environment of learning, wonder and opportunity to help each child build a spiritual foundation and grow in faith.
SUNDAY MORNINGS AT SAINT LUKE’S
Children of every age are always welcome to be a part of the worship service at Saint Luke’s! Feel free to get up, use the bathroom, wiggle, giggle, and squirm. Kids of all ages can help themselves to coloring sheets, crayons, and books at the children’s kiosk right inside the Narthex.
Children are also welcome to participate in our child-specific programs offered on Sunday mornings, whether their participation be week-to-week or when it works best with your family’s plan for worship!
These programs are open to all children; visitors and guests of parishioners are also always welcome to join us!

Saint Luke's Parish School
The Saint Luke’s Parish School is an Episcopal School that provides a weekday ministry to young children without regard to race, religion, nationality or economic status. The school is committed to fostering a close relationship between home, school and parish. Our school’s goal is to prepare our children educationally, socially and spiritually for their futures by helping the whole child grow in a developmentally appropriate atmosphere.
- Emotionally – To create a positive self-image.
- Socially – To learn to get along with others in an increasingly diverse world and to respect other religious traditions and beliefs.
- Physically – To develop muscle coordination and the ability to care for oneself.
- Intellectually – To encourage a child’s curiosity and to provide an opportunity to learn in a nurturing environment.
- Spiritually – To foster a sense of age-appropriate religious understanding and spiritual wonder and to instill key Christian values of prayer, worship, love of neighbor, justice and peace.
