We look forward to sharing the joy and wonder of Christmas with you. Whether you attend church here regularly, are visiting for the holidays, or are simply looking to add a spiritual component to your Christmas celebrations, we invite you to worship with us. We have different service styles and times, in person and live-streamed, to choose from: 

December 24Christmas Eve

3 PM Children’s ServiceHoly Eucharist with carols and retelling of the Christmas story in the Church. This is a service especially for children birth to Grade 3. Nursery care is available.
3 PM Come As You AreHoly Eucharist in a more casual, contemporary setting, with band & sermon. Held in the Anderson Youth & Community Center. Nursery care is available.
5 PM Family WorshipHoly Eucharist with sermon and St. Nicholas and St. Cecelia Children’s Choirs in the Church. Nursery care is available.
7:30 PM Festal EucharistHoly Eucharist with sermon, organ, brass, and choir in the Church. A choral prelude & seating for this service begins at 7 PM.
10 PM  Festal Eucharist Holy Eucharist with sermon, organ, brass, and choir in the Church. A choral prelude & seating for this service begins at 9:30 PM.

December 25  – Christmas Day

10 AM Holy Eucharist – Holy Eucharist with hymns in the Church.

December 31  – First Sunday After Christmas

8 AM Holy Eucharist – Holy Eucharist with hymns in the Church.
10 AM Christmas Lessons & CarolsWith Holy Eucharist in the Church.
There will be no 5PM service or Children’s Chapel / Nursery on this Sunday.

Friday, January 5 – Epiphany Eve

5 PM Holy Eucharist – Celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany in the Chapel, with the Arrival of the Three Kings and Burning of the Christmas Greens. Followed by a festive reception with King Cake.

Join us for special Advent celebrations this December

Advent Lessons & CarolsSunday, December 3 | 5PM | the Church

Experience a glorious evening of Advent carols with Wendy Kerner, Harp, the Saint Luke’s Parish Choir and Choristers, the CAYA Band, and a series of special readings that will usher us by candlelight into the season of love’s expectation. This service will be in person and livestreamed, followed by a festive reception in the Anderson Youth & Community Center (AYCC).

Advent Quiet EveningTuesday, December 5 | 6-8PM | the Chapel and the Parish Hall

Need a moment of quiet in this busy season? Join us for an Advent Quiet Evening. The Rev. Ali Donohue, Episcopal chaplain at Yale, will lead a mini-retreat on finding hope in a weary world. Simple supper at 6 PM, meditations beginning at 6:45 PM, ending with Sung Compline at 7:45 PM. No need to RSVP; bring a friend!

Carol Sing & Holiday DinnerTuesday, December 12 | 5:30 PM | the Church and then dinner in the AYCC

All are welcome for an evening of singing our favorite Christmas carols in the church, followed by a catered dinner in the AYCC, including a “special visitor” who may surprise the children with a visit! 

Christmas PageantSunday, December 17 | 11:45 AM | the Church

Join us for this annual celebration, as our children and youth re-tell the timeless story of Christ’s birth in Bethlehem. Friends and family are welcome.
