7 PM Solemn Eucharist with Foot Washing and Stripping of the Altar**

Our service on Maundy Thursday remembers the final meal that Jesus shared with his disciples, during which he washed their feet and instituted the Eucharist. The liturgy ends with the Stripping of the Altar, pointing toward Jesus’ arrest, trial and execution.

8:30 PM Vigil at the Altar of Repose in the Chapel

The Chapel remains open for prayer all night, remembering how Jesus asked his disciples to keep watch while he struggled in the Garden of Gethsemane. Members of the parish will read the entire Gospel of Mark, using The Saint John’s Bible. Sign up here to take turns staying awake & praying for at least one hour. Sign up to keep watch HERE.
