We believe every member of Saint Luke’s has an important gift to offer, given by God and useful for building up our common life.

Explore the opportunities for ministry listed below. Join a team, and find a new way to serve.

Serve in Worship

Students, 4th grade and up, serve as torch and cross bearers.

Prepare the Altar for services each Sunday, setting out the Eucharitic vessels, bread and wine, and cleaning up after services.

Sing as a member of the choir during the 10:00 AM Eucharist each Sunday.

Arrange the flowers at the Altar for Sunday worship, and break them down for distribution to members of the parish.

Read the Scripture lessons or lead the prayers of the people, and serve the chalice during Communion.

Be present to confidentially pray with fellow parishioners during Communion at a Sunday service.

Serve on a team every 6-8 weeks to greet the congregation, collect the offering, and guide parishioners up for Communion

Serve Fellow Parishioners

Take a handful of flower arrangements, made from Sunday’s Altar flowers, to fellow parishioners.

Send birthday cards to senior parishioners.

Volunteer to assist in our weekly Children’s Chapel, or other programming for children at Saint Luke’s.

Host funeral receptions after funerals or memorial services at Saint Luke’s.

Make occasional pastoral visits to fellow parishioners who are home-bound or otherwise incapable of attending church.

Volunteer as a chaperone or mentor for our teenagers at Saint Luke’s.

Serve Around Campus

Join the committee that helps plan and execute our parish-wide celebrations each year.

We are always looking for volunteers to serve in the Parish Office, from stuffing bulletin inserts and preparing parish mailings, to answering the phones and greeting those who come by the office during the week.

Want to help care for our beautiful, 7-acre campus? Volunteer to assist with gardening, pruning, trimming, or other activities.
