Welcome Frankie Amore, part-time Youth Assistant for Spring 2026

As our youth program continues to grow, we are excited to bring on more staff to support our middle and high school ministries. On Sunday we will welcome Frankie Amore as a part-time youth assistant for the spring semester. Frankie will join us on Sundays and support the youth program throughout the week.

A recent graduate of the University of Mississippi and current graduate student athlete at Sacred Heart University, Frankie grew up in the Episcopal Church in West Virginia. While studying music education at Ole Miss, he served for four years as the intern youth director at an Episcopal Church, as a summer camp counselor at Camp Allen (Diocese of Texas), and as the Director of Music and head counselor at Peterkin Camp (Diocese of West Virginia). Only in Connecticut for a semester to finish his collegiate pole-vaulting career, Frankie has chosen to share his youth expertise with Saint Luke’s. We are looking forward to a great semester of youth ministries at Saint Luke’s!

A little more from Frankie:

I grew up in the Episcopal Church, spending my formative years at Zion Episcopal Church in Charles Town, West Virginia. In 2012, I began attending Peterkin Camp and Conference Center—West Virginia’s sole functioning Episcopal Camp and Conference Center—as a Junior Camper and later served as a Counselor-in-Training. These experiences sparked my passion for youth ministry within the Episcopal Church.

I have completed my undergraduate degree in Music Education at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), where I also competed as a pole vaulter on the Track and Field team. During my time at Ole Miss, I served for four years as the intern youth director at Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church in Oxford, Mississippi. During my undergraduate summers, I spent two working at Camp Allen in Navasota, Texas, one of the largest Episcopal camp and conference centers in the United States, where I gained valuable leadership skills and extensive experience in Episcopal camp programming. Following that experience, I returned to Peterkin Camp and Conference Center for two summers, serving one summer as Music Director and another as Head Counselor.

I am currently obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Leadership at Sacred Heart University, furthering my academic studies, and finishing my collegiate pole vaulting career as a member of Sacred Heart’s Track and Field team. In May, I will begin serving at Peterkin Camp and Conference Center as the Director of Advancement and Programming. During my time in Connecticut, I am incredibly excited to serve at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church in Darien and look forward to engaging with the parish in many capacities, particularly through ministry with youth.
