5pm CAYA Eucharist is on summer hiatus – resuming September 7th!

Children’s Sunday Mornings “Under the Tree”Children ages 3 years old and up are invited to “gather under the tree” near the Cloister during the 10am service for prayer, a lesson and discussion. They will join the church service at the Peace. Nursery Care will also be available throughout the Summer for children ages birth to 36 months in our summer location, the Terrace Room of the Parish Office Building.

Wednesday Holy Eucharist & Healing at 10AM in the AYCC continues all summer long!

Summer Preaching Series – July 6 to August 24

This July and August, our clergy will be offering a preaching series entitled “The Prophets: Messengers of Justice and Hope.” Each week, the sermon will focus on one of the prophets in the Old Testament and what we can learn from them about being people of faith and justice in our own day.

“Lunch & Learns” on the Prophets

Wednesdays, July 9 & August 6 | 12pm | AYCC

As part of our summer series on “The Prophets: Messengers of Justice and Hope,the Rev. Ryan Fleenor will offer two midweek Lunch & Learns.

On July 9, Ryan will partner with David Martin, one of our Saint John’s Bible docents, to explore the spectacular illuminations in the Prophets volume of the SJB.

On August 6, Ryan will partner with David Pulliam, Director of Music, to explore Mendelssohn’s famous oratorio, Elijah.

Second Sunday Parish Hikes

Saturdays, July 12 & August 9 | 9am

Lace up your hiking boots and join fellow parishioners for a morning of fellowship and community out in God’s creation. We will meet at Saint Luke’s at 9am and carpool to a local park for a 2-3 hour hike together. And yes, dogs are most welcome!
